- 3/4 can of blackbeans, drained, mashed
- 150g mashed sweet potato
- 1/2 onion, diced & sautéed
- 100 tinned jackfruit
- 2 crushed cloves garlic
- 1 tsp Mexican spice
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 x flax egg – 1 TBS flax meal mixed with water
- 200g breadcrumbs
Step 1 – Mix the black beans, sweet potato, garlic, jackfruit, onion, spices, flax egg, 2 tbs crumbing mix. Form into patties and coat with crumbing mix.
Step 2 – Fry patties in oil, cook on both sides until golden.
Step 3 – Load up toasted @hermanbrot buns with mashed avo, vegan mayonaise, baby spinach or shredded kale, patty, sliced tomato, grated beetroot & pickled red onion
Step 4 – Fill each fresh HermanBurger Protein Bun with lettuce, beetroot slices, a vegie patty and top with avocado salsa. Serve with side salad or fries.
