Ingredients (Serves 1):
Herman Brot Sourdough | 95g ( two thick cut slices) |
Low fat Milk | ¼ Cup |
Egg | 1 |
Vanilla extract | 1 Tablespoon |
Butter | 1 Teaspoon |
Honey | 20g |
Strawberries | 50g |
Blueberries | 50g |
Cinnamon | 1 Tablespoon |
Salt | pinch |

Greek Yoghurt | 50g |
Crushed Pistachios | 10g |
Instructions:

Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well blended. -
Dip the Bread:
Dip each slice of Herman Brot Sourdough into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 1-2 minutes on each side to ensure both sides are well coated and absorb the mixture. -
Cook the French Toast:
Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the soaked bread slices in the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until both sides are golden brown and slightly crispy. -
Prepare the Fruit:
While the bread is cooking, slice the strawberries and set them aside along with the blueberries. -
Assemble the French Toast:
Once the French toast is ready, plate it and drizzle with honey, and top with berries and a little more cinnamon - Optional Extras for Extra Indulgence (not pictured or in nutrition calculation) :
